Concha noted a Georgia law now allows defendants to seek reimbursement when a prosecutor is disqualified and the case is dismissed, and he called for broader tort\u2011reform to curb what he described as the weaponization of the justice system. top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0px;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Trump is seeking <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3925543\/trump-former-codefendants-plan-hold-fani-willis-maximum-legal-accountability\/\">reimbursement for more than $6.2 million<\/a> in attorney fees and costs from the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fulton-county\/\">Fulton County<\/a>, Georgia, District Attorney&rsquo;s office after the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >election interference case brought<\/a> against him was dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>Fulton County District Attorney <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fani-willis\/\">Fani Willis <\/a>was removed from the case in September 2025 over her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3809149\/georgia-supreme-court-rejects-fani-willis-appeal-trump-election-case\/\">Willis lost an appeal<\/a> at the Georgia Court of Appeals, which cited an &ldquo;appearance of impropriety&rdquo; over the relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is able to request reimbursement for his legal fees because of a law Georgia state legislators passed last year.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/children-as-young-as-5-now-forced-to-have-diversity-and-inclusion-lessons-in-new-jersey-schools\/\" title=\"Children As Young As 5 Now Forced To Have \u2018Diversity And Inclusion\u2019 Lessons In New Jersey Schools\">law states<\/a> that defendants are entitled to request &ldquo;all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/suit-seeks-records-on-biden-officials-role-in-get-trump-lawfare\/\" title=\"Suit Seeks Records On Biden Official&#039;s Role In Get-...
