The pretrial detention facility&rsquo;s previous inmates notably include sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, rapper Sean &ldquo;Diddy&rdquo; Combs, and cryptocurrency fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.<\/p>\n<p>Combs&rsquo;s lawyers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/crime\/lawyer-says-diddy-will-serve-in-one-of-the-worst-prisons-in-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a> that several courts &ldquo;have recognized that the conditions at [MDC Brooklyn] are not fit for pre-trial detention&rdquo; in a 2024 motion for bail. Maxwell also reportedly took issue with the jail&rsquo;s accommodations during her stay, with the Jeffrey Epstein accomplice having <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/11\/13\/ghislaine-maxwell-gripes-about-rats-creepy-guards-at-nyc-lockup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">complained<\/a> of its allegedly abusive guards and plentiful rats.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Pam Bondi, in a Saturday morning post to X, vowed Maduro &ldquo;will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A 25-page indictment in the Southern District of New York unsealed later that morning details a host of criminal charges against Maduro and five co-defendants: his wife, son, two of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/natural-gas-soars-700-as-it-becomes-driving-force-in-the-new-cold-war\/\" title=\"Natural Gas Soars 700% As It Becomes Driving Force in the New Cold War\">key political allies<\/a>, and Tren de Aragua leader Ni&ntilde;o Guerrero.
