It sat unapproved for more than 1,200 days under the Biden administration, yet was greenlit less than a year into the current administration.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The company&rsquo;s key principal is Robert Patane, and it is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnb.com\/business-directory\/company-profiles.evita_solutions_llc.49e37a6a969015ed0b7b75c2b0cbfc63.html\">according<\/a> to the Dun &amp; Bradstreet business directory. Its registered agent is CT Corporation System, <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn01.dailycaller.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Search-Results.pdf\">according<\/a> to Virginia business <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.scc.virginia.gov\/EntitySearch\/Index\">records<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Evita Solutions is now the third FDA-approved manufacturer of mifepristone, alongside the brand-name producer Danco Laboratories and the other generic manufacturer GenBioPro. Josh Hawley <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/HawleyMO\/status\/1973801164052574259?s=20\">said<\/a> he &ldquo;lost confidence in the leadership at FDA&rdquo; after the new generic pill&rsquo;s approval.<\/p>\n<p>HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/katesrichardson\/status\/1963628548784099371\">said<\/a> during a Senate hearing in September that the Biden administration &ldquo;twisted the data to bury one of the safety signals&rdquo; for mifepristone.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To be clear: this approval fails to mitigate the risks to women that have been identified and fails to protect women from the coercive use of the drug,&rdquo; Republican Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy and 16 other lawmakers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.help.senate.gov\/rep\/newsroom\/press\/chair-cassidy-leads-pro-life-republicans-seeking-answers-on-fda-approving-dangerous-chemical-abortion-drug\">wrote<\/a> in an October letter to the FDA. &ldquo;It also flies in the face of President Trump&rsquo;s strong statement that he is &lsquo;the most pro-life president&rsquo; in history and his dedication to protecting the lives of unborn children and keeping women safe.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>FDA Commissioner Marty Makary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2025\/12\/09\/exclusive-makary-responds-report-saying-he-slow-walked-abortion-pill-safety-review\/\">told<\/a> The Daily Signal in December that the FDA is in the &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fda-head-abortion-pill-review-will-be-released-once-completed\/\" title=\"... Review Will Be Released Once Completed\">data acquisition phase&#038;rdquo<\/a>; of its review.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We do an ongoing review, but we&rsquo;re also engaging in a robust study that can serve to validate or not validate other numbers that have been put out there in the literature,&rdquo; Makary said.<\/p>\n<p>Five online abortion providers sent abortion pills via mail for &ldquo;future use&rdquo; without a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >doctor verifying key eligibility requirements<\/a> during a Daily Caller News Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2025\/06\/19\/chemical-abortion-pill-order-online\/?utm_medium=organic&amp;utm_campaign=related&amp;utm_source=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">investigation<\/a> in June. One of the organizations that supplied pills to the Daily Caller News Foundation, Aid Access, is named in a lawsuit over alleged abortion coercion.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A clearly politically driven company entering a market that now accounts for more than 60% of U.S. abortions warrants greater scrutiny, not less,&rdquo; Daniel told the Daily Caller News Foundation. &ldquo;Unregulated abortion drugs have already created a public health crisis, with women reporting serious harm and documented cases of coercion and abuse. There is a troubling lack of information surrounding Evita Solutions.
