Herridge &#8211; now an self-reliant journalist on Substack &#8211; said she had obtained a &#8220;clean&#8221; copy, found messages including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/road-rage-incident-could-undermine-radical-prosecutors-promotion-to-u-s-attorney\/\" title=\"Road Rage Incident Could Undermine Radical Prosecutor\u2019s Promotion to U.S. Attorney\">racial slurs<\/a>, and requested a forensic review that she claims identified more than half a dozen items likely linked to Joe Biden. who is now an independent journalist on Substack &mdash; said that her story on some of the messages found on the then-first son&rsquo;s computer was delayed until after the 2022 midterms because of the damaging information on it.<\/p>\n<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.com\/news\/former-cbs-reporter-catherine-herridge-203420615.html?guccounter=1\">Daily Caller News Foundation<\/a> noted, even <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >establishment news sources<\/a> such as The Washington Post and New York Times had conceded that, far from being a disinformation operation, the contents of the laptop were valid at the time she said she was going to do the story.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, Herridge said that the contents of the laptop still constituted a valid story, particularly given some of the racial slurs that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/appears-like-hunter-biden-pardoned-breakdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden<\/a> used in his messages.<\/p>\n<p>Herridge, she said, had gone through &ldquo;a lot of effort to get the cleanest copy&rdquo; Herridge said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I argued against that because it was ready before the midterms and my training is that you should always do the story when it&rsquo;s ready to go.
