Video posted online shows officers inspecting the clothing before moving it to the 66th Precinct for safekeeping. The discovery, reported by the New York Daily News, prompted wide online speculation &#8211; from suggestions that officers might resign rather than serve under incoming Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani to fears the uniforms could be used in a terror plot or that political supporters were involved.
