Necropsies will be performed too check for disease and human DNA; if no DNA is found on the euthanized cats, authorities will search for other animals that may have been involved. The victim was hiking alone,and the larimer County Coroner will release her identity and the official cause of death. If lions are spotted, make noise to scare them from the area, hold objects overhead to appear bigger and start backing away from the animal.
