Miami reached that game by winning Wednesday&rsquo;s Cotton Bowl, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/boxscore\/_\/gameId\/401769070\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">24-14<\/a> over the defending NCAA Champion Ohio State Buckeyes.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the Ole Miss-Miami clash will then play in the College Football Playoff&rsquo;s national championship game later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Chambliss&rsquo;s efforts, of course, will go a long way toward determining the Fiesta Bowl&rsquo;s outcome.<\/p>\n<p>In a first-round playoff game on Dec. 20, the Rebels&rsquo; quarterback completed 23 of 29 passes for 282 yards and a touchdown, to which he added 36 yards and two touchdowns rushing, in Ole Miss&rsquo; dominant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/recap\/_\/gameId\/401779842\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">41-10 win<\/a> over the Tulane Green Wave, a victory made all the more impressive for the fact that it came three weeks after their mercenary former head coach Lane Kiffin abandoned the team to take the same position with the LSU Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Chambliss and the Rebels rendered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chip-roy-floats-congressional-action-college-football-lane-kiffin-fiasco-isnt-supposed-nfl-lite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kiffin&rsquo;s<\/a> departure an even smaller footnote to their increasingly magical season.<\/p>\n<p>Against Georgia, the Ole Miss quarterback completed 30 of 46 passes for 362 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics alone, however, cannot do justice to the way Chambliss played, particularly in the second half of a tight game.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, in the following highlight reel of what the SEC Network called a &ldquo;LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE,&rdquo;
