Committee chair Rep. James Comer said Congress will seek accountability after the Justice Department began investigating and prosecuting fraud that allegedly diverted billions in taxpayer funds. The committee plans a two-part review: a Jan. 7 hearing with Minnesota GOP state representatives Kristin Robbins, Walter Hudson, and Marion Rarick, and a Feb. 10 session for Walz and Ellison. Walz is facing a formal criminal complaint tied to the scandal and has defended his administration&#8217;s efforts to combat fraud, also criticizing President Trump in his remarks. The Oversight Committee will hear from Minnesota GOP Reps.
