A recently released document from April 2020 indicates federal prosecutors had evidence Andrew &#8220;engaged in sexual conduct&#8221; with a victim,was present for certain interactions involving Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,and had knowledge that Maxwell recruited females for sex with Epstein and others &#8211; though U.S. authorities said he was not then a target and had not been shown to have committed a U.S. crime. Andrew settled a 2022 lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, who later died by suicide in April. Police in Rape Gangs Hotspot Not Recording Ethnicity of Abusers\">working-class girls<\/a> who were victims of the Epstein class,&rdquo;&nbsp;he <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/news\/world\/royal-family-should-pay-compensation-epstein-victims-top-democrat-4134345\">told<\/a> British outlet the <em>i Paper<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Khanna&rsquo;s comments come as a document in a new batch of Epstein files, which dropped on Tuesday, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/12\/23\/jeffrey-epstein-files-prince-andrew-justice-department-00704705\">revealed<\/a> federal prosecutors had evidence that Mountbatten-Windsor &ldquo;engaged in sexual conduct&rdquo; with one of Epstein&rsquo;s victims and threatened to force the then-British royal to speak with U.K. investigators. <\/p>\n<p>The document, dated April 2020, also detailed evidence that Mountbatten-Windsor &ldquo;was present&rdquo; for &ldquo;certain&rdquo; interactions between a victim, Epstein, and longtime Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Prosecutors also said there is &ldquo;documentary&rdquo; evidence that Andrew &ldquo;had knowledge&rdquo; Maxwell &ldquo;recruited females to engage in sex acts with Epstein and other men.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Still, prosecutors stressed at the time that Mountbatten-Windsor &ldquo;is not presently a target of the investigation, and U.S. authorities have not, to date, gathered evidence that he has committed any crime under U.S. law.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4361642\/trump-administration-epstein-files-release-few-more-weeks\/\">TRUMP ADMINISTRATION WON&rsquo;T COMPLETE EPSTEIN FILES RELEASE FOR &lsquo;A FEW MORE WEEKS&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mountbatten-Windsor previously settled with an Epstein victim, Virginia Giuffre, in 2022 after she accused him of sexual assault, though he has never admitted guilt.
