Iraqi Sunni group Ansar al Sunnah claimed obligation on Telegram, though Syrian officials have not officially identified teh perpetrators. Witnesses described horrific injuries, and photos show the mosqueS interior largely intact but stained and strewn with debris. Syrian authorities and neighboring countries &#8211; including Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar &#8211; and France condemned the attack; Syria&#8217;s information minister accused a convergence of &#8220;remnants of the Assad regime, ISIS elements, and agents&#8221; of seeking too destabilize the country. Iraqi Sunni <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/terrorism\/\">terrorist<\/a> group Ansar al Sunnah claimed responsibility for the attack on Telegram. But Syrian officials have yet to name the culprits responsible.<\/p>\n<p>Pictures at the scene show the mostly intact interior of a mosque with heavy black marks staining a wall corner. Items are strewn about.<\/p>\n<p>A witness said the explosion decapitated some of the victims at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;With the first prostration came a huge explosion. People were all on the floor, some had their heads blown off. Those on the right were affected the most. Many were injured and fled, and there was a huge crowd,&rdquo; Bashar al Issa told the Syrian Arab News Agency.<\/p>\n<p>The country&rsquo;s information minister condemned the attack. &ldquo;It has become clear to everyone that the remnants of the Assad regime, ISIS elements, and agents converge on one objective: obstructing the path of the new state by destabilizing security, disrupting civil peace, and undermining the shared living and common destiny of Syrians throughout the ages,&rdquo; Hamza al Mustafa said.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/german-chancellor-angela-merkel-discusses-german-perfectionism-amid-current-virus-struggles\/\" title=\"German Chancellor Angela Merkel Discusses German \u2018Perfectionism\u2019 Amid Current Virus Struggles\">neighboring nations<\/a> of Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar&nbsp;condemned the attacks and expressed support for the victims.
