Democrats largely reject MAGA (70% preferring a regular Republican and 79% disapproving). Among Republicans there is a paradox: while 79% approve of trump (58% strongly), only 46% said they would prefer a MAGA candidate compared with 44% who would choose a regular Republican, yet separate measures show about 80% of Republicans approving of the movement.The poll&#8217;s findings come amid visible GOP infighting &#8211; disputes over Obamacare subsidies in the House, clashes involving Rep. movement they and President Donald Trump represent appear to be going out of favor with voters, including among the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-taking-regeneron-drug-remdesivir-therapy-for-coronavirus-diagnosis-ex-wh-doctor-explains\/\" title=\"... taking Regeneron drug, Remdesivir therapy for coronavirus diagnosis: ex-WH doctor explains\">president&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s GOP supporters.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/trump_administration_second_term\/maga_label_not_a_winner_for_republican_candidates\">Rasmussen Reports<\/a> survey shared Tuesday with Washington Secrets, likely voters overwhelmingly said that they would prefer a &ldquo;regular Republican&rdquo; at the presidency by following Trump 2024 model<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>And they are <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3895734\/marjorie-taylor-greene-resigns-congress\/\">split on the movement<\/a>, with 49% disapproving compared to 46% that approve.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats, of course, expressed little support for MAGA, the 2016 Trump campaign theme that he brought back in 2024 after four years of former President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>In the Rasmussen survey, 70% of Democrats said they would prefer a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-legal-analyst-says-theres-no-defending-the-cheap-shot-jack-smith-just-took-against-trump\/\" title=\"CNN Legal Analyst Says There&#039;s &#039;No Defending&#039; the &#039;Cheap Shot&#039; Jack Smith Just Took Against ...\">regular&#038;rdquo<\/a>; Republican candidate to one associated with MAGA.
