This announcement came during a ceremony where Trump highlighted new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-latest-drug-deal-could-save-lives-in-america-and-britain\/\" title=\"...\u2019s Latest Drug Deal Could Save Lives In America And Britain\">drug pricing agreements<\/a> with nine pharmaceutical manufacturers. He expressed frustration over rising insurance premiums, especially as more than 20 million Americans face significant premium increases following the expiration of enhanced Obamacare tax credits. I&rsquo;m going to see if they get their price down,&rdquo; Trump announced at the tail end of his remarks after touting Friday&rsquo;s announcement as the &ldquo;biggest&rdquo; healthcare development in U.S. history.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">President Donald Trump is setting his sights on health insurance providers as he continues his efforts to address&rsquo; affordability concerns. (AP Photo\/Evan Vucci)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trump added that insurance companies &ldquo;are making so much money, and they have to make less, a lot less,&rdquo; suggesting that he would <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >negotiate 70%-80% premium price reductions<\/a>. &ldquo;Maybe we can have reasonable healthcare without having to cut them out.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The president did clarify that the meeting itself has not been scheduled.
