If she does not step down,they have threatened to initiate impeachment proceedings-teh first such action against a judge in Wisconsin as 1853. <\/p>\n<p>Although Dugan was found not guilty of a misdemeanor charge of concealing, the felony obstruction conviction could carry a prison sentence of up to five years. Her legal team has stated they plan to appeal the verdict and deny any wrongdoing. His status with reference to the office was fixed at the time of his conviction,&rsquo; the leaders wrote. &ldquo;Such is the case here, and Judge Dugan must recognize that the law requires her resignation.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Wisconsinites deserve to know their judiciary is impartial and that justice is blind.
