DeFord, who has a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >criminal record involving robbery adn cocaine possession<\/a> with intent to distribute, received his pardon after demonstrating exemplary behavior since completing his sentence and being out of prison for over five years. His pardon was approved by the Tennessee Board of Parole and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rolling-to-remember-forges-ahead-despite-biden-pentagon-rejections\/\" title=\"Rolling to Remember forges ahead despite Biden Pentagon rejections\">officially granted<\/a> by the governor. The pardon ceremony took place at the governor&#8217;s residence, with Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall present. Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall appeared with DeFord in April when he petitioned the Tennessee Board of Parole for a pardon. The board approved his request, but the final decision was up to Lee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DeFord is open about his past arrest. His&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/sci.ccc.nashville.gov\/Search\/CaseSearchDetails\/264015%5E648621%5ECJIS\/JASON%5EDEFORD%5E12041984%5E276697\/\">record shows<\/a>&nbsp;convictions for robbery and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To obtain a pardon, the applicant should have been out of prison for more than five years and not under community supervision and demonstrated &ldquo;exemplary citizenship since the completion of the sentence,&rdquo; according to the Board of Parole.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DeFord&rsquo;s name was seventh on the list.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/magazine-your-land\/3913987\/what-if-sex-trafficking-was-least-of-diddy-crimes\/\">WHAT IF SEX TRAFFICKING WAS THE LEAST OF DIDDY&rsquo;S CRIMES?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;After thoroughly reviewing the merits of each case, I have decided to grant 33 individuals executive clemency,&rdquo; Lee said in a release. &ldquo;Each individual case is unique and warranted consideration, and I thank the Board of Parole members for their thoughtful recommendations throughout this process.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s been a good month for Jelly Roll.
