TMTG Chairman and CEO Devin Nunes highlighted fusion energy as a revolutionary breakthrough that could lower energy costs, enhance America&#8217;s manufacturing and national defense, and support AI technology. The merged company plans to begin construction on the world&#8217;s first utility-scale fusion power plant as soon as next year. The merger is valued at more than $6 billion. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Trump Media &amp; Technology Group built uncancellable infrastructure to secure free expression online for Americans, and now we&rsquo;re taking a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/south-carolina-enacts-heartbeat-bill-after-contentious-floor-debate\/\" title=\"South Carolina Enacts Heartbeat Bill After Contentious Floor Debate\">big step forward<\/a> toward a revolutionary technology that will cement America&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/simply-not-true-biden-says-he-isnt-holding-back-us-energy-production\/\" title=\"\u2018Simply Not True\u2019: Biden Says He Isn\u2019t Holding Back US ... Production\">global energy dominance<\/a> for generations,&rdquo; TMTG Chairman and CEO Devin Nunes said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressviewer.com\/profiles\/investor\/NewsPrint.asp?v=7&amp;b=2660&amp;ID=160597&amp;m=rl&amp;g=1953\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>. &ldquo;Fusion power will be the most dramatic energy breakthrough since the onset of commercial nuclear energy in the 1950s &mdash; an innovation that will lower energy prices, boost supply, ensure America&rsquo;s A.I.-supremacy, revive our manufacturing base and bolster national defense.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2146485599\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressviewer.com\/profiles\/investor\/NewsPrint.asp?v=7&amp;b=2660&amp;ID=160597&amp;m=rl&amp;g=1953\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press release<\/a>, Trump Media will be merging with TAE Technologies, a tech energy company focused on &ldquo;deploying commercial, utility scale fusion energy.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>The latter company seeks to use this new form of energy to &ldquo;provide reliable, affordable, carbon-free electricity and industrial heat without the risks of nuclear meltdown, radioactive waste, or proliferation.&rdquo; That includes helping America &ldquo;win the A.I. revolution&rdquo; and power AI data centers, which have been <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/12\/05\/ai-data-centers-are-wreaking-havoc-on-local-communities-across-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">driving up<\/a> electricity costs for local residents across the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement, the joint company is aiming to &ldquo;site and begin construction on the world&rsquo;s first <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >utility-scale fusion power plant&#038;rdquo<\/a>; as early as next year. The company hopes to develop additional such plants in the future. <\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, TMTG and TAE shareholders will each own roughly 50 percent of the company, with Nunes and TAE Director and CEO Michl Binderbauer set to serve as co-CEOs. The combined company will be managed by a nine-member board of directors, which will be chaired by Big Sky Partners Founder and Managing Director Michael B. Schwab. <\/p>\n<p>TMTG will continue to remain the holding company for existing Trump Media properties such as Truth Social and Truth+, but will also oversee &ldquo;TAE, TAE Power Solutions and TAE Life Sciences, among others,&rdquo; according to the press release. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our talented team, through its commitment and dedication to science, is poised to solve the immense global challenge of energy scarcity,&rdquo; Binderbauer said in a statement. &ldquo;At TAE, recent breakthroughs have prepared us to accelerate capital deployment to commercialize our fusion technology.
