Sources familiar with the investigation <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/national\/nsw\/men-pulled-from-crashed-car-by-heavily-armed-tactical-police-20251218-p5nouo.html\">told<\/a> the <em>Sydney Morning Herald<\/em> that a weapon may have been found in one of the cars. The group was reportedly flagged because they were known to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Heavily armed police dressed in camouflage and tactical gear intercepted the two cars.
