This is something that goes back, not just this past month, but for the last year. At the end of the day, she&rsquo;s saying things that are delusional, and this basically reminds me of a spoiled brat, an entitled spoiled brat.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned above, Mace was accused of using foul language at airport officials during an incident in October over what was considered a communication error, in which she was briefly delayed in getting a security escort at Charleston International Airport in <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/south-carolina\/\">South Carolina<\/a>. According to the police report from that day, police officers eventually connected with Mace at a TSA entrance, where they found her &ldquo;very irate.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;During the entire escort, Rep. Mace was talking loudly, using profanity at times for others to hear,&rdquo; read the police <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/s3.documentcloud.org\/documents\/26209775\/mace-report.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a>. &ldquo;It appeared she was either dictating a message into her phone or talking to someone about the situation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, while also appearing on CNN, Mace <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3913279\/nancy-mace-claims-police-report-airport-incident-falsified\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">criticized<\/a> the report of her exchange with airport officers, calling it a political &ldquo;hit job&rdquo; and partly &ldquo;falsified.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Part of the report was actually falsified,&rdquo; Mace <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/12\/09\/politics\/video\/nancy-mace-police-report-kaitlan-collins-airport-tsa-security-charleston-international-airport-cursing\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said <\/a>regarding the report. &ldquo;We asked for all the video, all the audio, everything, all the body cam. And the video that was released yesterday showed me asking TSA agents for help and for assistance. And conveniently, there is no audio that goes with it.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I do take responsibility for my words. I always have, but the idea that I would call somebody an idiot. I have never done that in my life,&rdquo; Mace added. &ldquo;And to me, it was an incredible hit job. It was effective. It was a very <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mace-claims-hit-job-police-report-on-airport-incident-was-falsified\/\" title=\"... claims &#039;hit job&#039; ... on airport incident was &#039;...&#039;\">effective political hit job<\/a>, but that&rsquo;s all that it was.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3912745\/nancy-mace-spectacle-south-carolina-airport-police-investigation\/\">POLICE INVESTIGATION FINDS NANCY MACE CAUSED &lsquo;SPECTACLE&rsquo; AT SOUTH CAROLINA AIRPORT<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mace also <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3913279\/nancy-mace-claims-police-report-airport-incident-falsified\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alleged<\/a> Wilson might have been behind the controversy surrounding the report. She was asked on CNN if Wilson and the Charleston Airport Police Department collaborated.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Oh, 100%,&rdquo; Mace replied.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Six minutes after they released the falsified reports, he had a news release and a press thing on social media,&rdquo; the congresswoman said. &ldquo;It was a very effective political hit job, but I&rsquo;m not going to sit here and allow the mainstream media to allow the press to concoct a story.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Wilson has served as South Carolina&rsquo;s attorney general since 2011. He announced his candidacy for governor of South Carolina in June 2025.
