This release is part of ongoing efforts by House Oversight Democrats to expose the details of Epstein&#8217;s activities and combat what they describe as a cover-up, aiming to deliver justice for survivors.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Democrats on the committee have made Epstein-related files public; earlier, they released Epstein&#8217;s &#8220;birthday book,&#8221; which reportedly contained a card signed by former President Donald Trump-a claim that the White House denies and has legally contested. The committee has obtained thousands of documents from financial institutions like JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank, as well as from the U.S.Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans on the committee have criticized the Democrats for releasing information selectively and prematurely, arguing that the majority is reviewing materials and plans to release them comprehensively soon. Washington Examiner\">released files related<\/a> to Epstein before the majority could. They previously released Epstein&rsquo;s &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/oversightdemocrats.house.gov\/news\/press-releases\/ranking-member-robert-garcia-statement-epstein-estate-turning-over-infamous\">birthday book<\/a>,&rdquo; which featured a birthday card purportedly signed by President Donald Trump. The White House has continuously denied Trump&rsquo;s involvement, with the president launching legal action against the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>, which reported the existence of the book and the signed card.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Oversight Committee has received files related to Jeffrey Epstein from JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank &amp; the U.S. Virgin Islands,&rdquo; House Oversight Committee ranking member Robert Garcia (D-CA) wrote on X. &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OversightDems\">@OversightDems<\/a> intend to release files to the public in the days ahead. (Photo provided by House Oversight Committee Democrats)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>House Oversight Republicans have consistently slammed Democrats for prematurely releasing files over the past few months.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The House Oversight Committee has received approximately 5,000 documents in response to Chairman Comer&rsquo;s subpoenas to J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank, as well as his request to the U.S. Virgin Islands,&rdquo; a House Oversight Committee spokesperson said in a statement. &ldquo;The Majority is reviewing these materials and will make them public soon, just as the Committee has already done with the more than 65,000 pages produced during this investigation. It is odd that Democrats are once again releasing selective information, as they have done before. The last time Democrats cherry-picked and doctored documents, their attempt to construct yet another hoax against President Trump completely collapsed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>This all comes as the House Oversight Committee launched an investigation into the Epstein files earlier this year. The committee has released thousands of documents from testimonies and the Epstein estate.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3903323\/texas-make-or-break-senate-map-2026-midterms\/\"><strong>TEXAS SENATE RACE SHAPES UP TO BE 2026 MIDTERM BARN BURNER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last month, the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/house\/\">House<\/a>&nbsp;voted almost unanimously to force the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/justice-department\/\">Justice Department&nbsp;<\/a>to release the Epstein files, with every House Republican except one supporting the measure. The bill then passed the upper chamber and was signed by Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The Epstein Files Transparency Act, brought to the floor through a discharge petition, would require the&nbsp;DOJ&nbsp;to make all relevant files publicly available, with victim protections.
