The incident occurred Wednesday just before noon in the casino&#8217;s food court when an unidentified suspect opened fire on an adult man in his 20s, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Even though initially it was reported that a second person suffered a graze wound, police later confirmed only one victim was shot.the suspect fled in a vehicle and remains at large. Authorities have video of the suspect but have not released a description or motive, noting the shooting does not appear random and the suspect is not considered an active threat. The food court was temporarily closed, while the rest of the casino stayed open. Law enforcement continues to investigate. Public figures, including Rep. A second person reportedly suffered a graze wound, but the police department later determined only one victim was shot.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;From what I was told, there was no exchange,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >police chief told reporters<\/a>. &ldquo;The victim was ordering food. The suspect appeared and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/officials-give-update-on-fedex-shooting-in-indianapolis\/\" title=\"Officials give update on FedEx ... in Indianapolis\">immediately began shooting<\/a> at the victim.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have the at-large suspect on video but declined to release further details of the suspect&rsquo;s description. The shooting did not appear to be random, police confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>The food court was the only area at MGM National Harbor that police closed following the shooting.
