Stefanik introduced a provision requiring Congressional disclosure whenever the FBI opens such investigations into presidential and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-omar-act-seeks-to-stop-lawmakers-from-enriching-spouses\/\" title=\"Republicans\u2019 \u2018OMAR Act\u2019 Seeks To Stop Lawmakers From Enriching Spouses\">federal candidates<\/a>, motivated by concerns over <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >prior politically motivated probes<\/a> like &#8220;Operation Arctic Frost,&#8221; a Justice Department campaign targeting Donald Trump and GOP allies. Despite the provision passing the House Intelligence Committee, Stefanik claims top GOP leaders, including Johnson, are allowing Democrats and the &#8220;deep state&#8221; to block it. Johnson denied these allegations, saying Stefanik&#8217;s concerns have not reached his level and expressing confusion over her public accusations. Democrats\">deep state due<\/a> to opposition by Jamie Raskin. If Republicans can&rsquo;t deliver accountability and legislative fixes to arguably the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/stefanik-blasts-johnson-gop-as-getting-rolled-by-house-democrats\/\" title=\"Stefanik blasts ..., ... as \u2018getting rolled\u2019 by ... Democrats\">biggest illegal corruption<\/a> and government weaponization issue of all time, then what are we even doing[?]\n<p>&ldquo;This language is even more essential in light of the continued weaponization of the federal government evidenced by the sweeping Arctic Frost wiretapping scandal and the recent illegal leaks of Steve Witkoff&rsquo;s conversations with foreign counterparts.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Here&rsquo;s Stefanik <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EliseStefanik\/status\/1995856738994565416\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on<\/a> Tuesday: &ldquo;I just walked out of a briefing on this issue this morning CONFIRMING everything I posted yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;That yes, in fact, the Speaker is blocking my provision to root out the illegal weaponization that led to Crossfire Hurricane, Arctic Frost, and more. He is siding with Jamie Raskin against Trump Republicans to block this provision to protect the deep state.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is an easy one.
