The theme reflects her personal experiences balancing motherhood and business and highlights that home is more about the comfort and love one carries internally rather than a physical place. Designer Herv\u00e9 Pierre was chosen to bring this vision to life in the White House decorations.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s decor features 10,000 blue butterflies in the Red Room, symbolizing dedication to the foster care community. The 18-foot White House Christmas tree, a concolor fir from Michigan&#8217;s Korson&#8217;s Tree Farms, arrived in Washington, D.C., in late November.
