It focuses on Democratic Representative Eric Swalwell of California and his recent proposal to introduce voting by phone if elected governor. Swalwell compares phone voting to everyday online activities like paying taxes and making healthcare appointments, suggesting it would “max out democracy.”

Though, the idea was met with skepticism and concern, especially regarding election security risks. Many social media users pointed out the vulnerability of phone systems to fraud and scams, questioning the safety and integrity of phone voting. Critics argue that proposals like Swalwell’s reflect ongoing Democratic efforts to complicate or undermine secure voting processes, potentially enabling election fraud.

The author contends that this approach effectively insults voters by implying they are too inept to obtain voter IDs or vote in person and that democrats exploit their own supporters’ trust while promoting election methods that increase risks of irregularities. The piece concludes that California’s Democratic voters have unwittingly confirmed the low regard their leaders have for them.

Democrat voters’
