Documents filed by Halligan suggest James knowingly provided false details on her mortgage application, her IRS filings, and homeowners&#8217; insurance applications. For example, James claimed under oath that the norfolk home was a secondary residence while witnesses testified that her niece and children lived there full-time, and James did not reside there. Additionally, she <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >reportedly made misleading claims<\/a> about the home&#8217;s occupancy to obtain better mortgage and insurance terms.
