However, on Thursday, the appeals court paused the order pending a hearing on Dec. 2, marking the second time in as many days that judges on the 7th Circuit handed the administration legal wins by temporarily blocking lower court orders.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >sweeping order limiting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-to-nominate-texas-sheriff-to-lead-ice\/\" title=\"Biden to Nominate Texas Sheriff to Lead ICE\">federal immigration officers<\/a>&#038;rsquo<\/a>; use of force in the Chicago area amid protests over their operations, but her order was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3892779\/appeals-court-halts-overbroad-order-restricting-federal-immigration-officers-use-force\/\">halted by an appeals court<\/a> on Wednesday. However, in Chicago, it has faced several roadblocks from federal courts.
