He&rsquo;s a major conservative <a href=\"https:\/\/rootforamerica.com\/radio-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talk radio<\/a> show and <a href=\"https:\/\/rootforamerica.com\/podcasts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">podcast<\/a> host, author and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wayne-allyn-root-interviewed-president-trump-elites-terror-became-clear-right-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personality<\/a>&nbsp;who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wayne-allyn-root-middle-biggest-get-rich-quick-scheme-history-covids-just-small-part\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">doesn&rsquo;t pull punches<\/a> when it comes to controversial opinions.<\/p>\n<p>According to Root, his positions about COVID and the vaccine were accurate, but accuracy isn&rsquo;t the point.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I turned out to be 100% correct,&rdquo; he wrote. &ldquo;But whether I was right, or wrong isn&rsquo;t the issue. The crux of the issue is what happened to me was clearly a violation of my civil rights, and a violation of my right to free speech in America &mdash; where free speech is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>To Root, the issue is the suppression of speech in a country where the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/justice-ketanji-brown-jackson-true-thoughts-first-amendment-slip-obstacle-hamstringing-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">First Amendment<\/a> is supposed to protect exactly the kind of public disagreement he engaged in.<\/p>\n<p>He also highlights the imbalance. Government agencies, health authorities, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/is-he-guilty-of-sexual-misconduct-depends-on-his-political-party\/\" title=\"Is He Guilty Of Sexual Misconduct? Depends On His Political Party.\">major media outlets<\/a> were never punished for information they later revised, contradicted, or walked back.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, voices of dissent were silenced for years during and after COVID, or chose not to say anything at all.<\/p>\n<p>Root said this system amounted to a &ldquo;Censorship Industrial Complex&rdquo; that operated during the pandemic &mdash; one that he argues inflicted real damage not just on him but on the trust Americans once placed in powerful institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Root wrote that his lawsuit aims to expose the network that coordinated the suppression of views like his. He names Meta (parent company of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/facebook-reverses-course-will-now-allow-users-say-covid-manmade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/google-ceo-admits-company-engages-manual-censorship-blacklists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google<\/a>, X (formerly Twitter), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hedge-fund-billionaires-call-potential-tiktok-ban-alleged-pro-hamas-algorithm-echoes-trumps-early-fears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok<\/a> as defendants who allegedly played active roles in burying his commentary and cutting off public discussions about his stances on issues that affected the country.<\/p>\n<p>For now, the suit does not include federal agencies, but Root wrote that he expects the lawsuit&rsquo;s discovery process to reveal that government officials in the Biden administration colluded with Big Tech in censoring Americans. Evidence of that has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/internal-records-prove-biden-admin-colluded-facebook-twitter-censor-users\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already become public<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Root&rsquo;s argument is simple: Censorship happened, and it had consequences. Institutions that insisted they alone held the truth ended up creating one of the most profound crises of public trust in modern history.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I will fight the battle.
