Text messages between Epstein and Plaskett were revealed by the House oversight Commitee.A motion to censure Plaskett was narrowly defeated 214-209, with 10 Republicans joining Democrats in opposing the censure. Critics, including Rep. Ralph Norman, argued that anyone consulting a convicted predator on official business should not serve on key committees like Intelligence.
