He expressed willingness to meet with city officials to coordinate efforts but indicated ICE will proceed even without local support. We&rsquo;d much rather work with these sanctuary cities than keep putting our agents at extreme risk going out in the community,&rdquo; Homan said. &ldquo;So we welcome any conversation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration has announced several immigration crackdown operations in specific cities throughout 2025. Illegal immigration arrest <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/3889181\/map-trump-administration-federal-troops-us-cities\/\">operations have hit places such as<\/a> Chicago, for &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/3797276\/dhs-launches-operation-midway-blitz-illegal-immigrants-chicago\/\">Operation Midway Blitz<\/a>,&rdquo; Charlotte, North Carolina, for &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/3888601\/dhs-begins-immigration-crackdown-charlotte\/\">Operation Charlotte&rsquo;s Web<\/a>,&rdquo; and most recently, according to the<em> <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/new-orleans-border-patrol-swamp-sweep-1d30a524e80fa25912a38c3aea79832b\">Associated Press<\/a><\/em>, Mississippi and Louisiana, for &ldquo;Swamp Sweep.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Gov.
