Though the conspiring lawmaker&rsquo;s name was redacted, the outlet confirmed Plaskett exchanged messages with Epstein during the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen testified before the House Oversight Committee against Trump for <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >allegedly sending hush money payments<\/a> to quash extramarital affairs, a claim Trump has consistently denied.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein appeared to help craft the questions Plaskett posed to Cohen, according to the resolution and resurfaced text messages.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Delegate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/democratic-delegate-throws-tantrum-speaker-house-vote-doesnt-like-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plaskett<\/a> was actively coached by Epstein during the hearing, received instructions on specific lines of questioning, and was congratulated with the message &lsquo;Good work,&rsquo;&rdquo; the resolution states in part.<\/p>\n<p>In one exchange, Epstein discussed former Trump aide, Rhona Graff, saying that &ldquo;Cohen brought up RONA &mdash; keeper of the secrets&rdquo; while misspelling the woman&rsquo;s name.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;RONA??&rdquo; Plaskett responded. &ldquo;Quick I&rsquo;m up next is that an acronym.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Epstein clarified, &ldquo;Thats[[<i>sic<\/i>]his assistant.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wpds-c-heFNVF wpds-c-heFNVF-iPJLV-css overrideStyles font-copy\" dir=\"null\" data-apitype=\"text\" data-contentid=\"2QXVQMHXE5EKJLIV2JBTAJUGKE\" data-el=\"text\">In another back-and-forth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lone-member-congress-vote-epstein-files-release-says-principled-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Epstein<\/a> told Plaskett, presumably referring to Cohen, &ldquo;Hes[[<i>sic<\/i>]opened the door to questions re who are the other henchmen at trump org.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wpds-c-heFNVF wpds-c-heFNVF-iPJLV-css overrideStyles font-copy\" dir=\"null\" data-apitype=\"text\" data-contentid=\"2QXVQMHXE5EKJLIV2JBTAJUGKE\" data-el=\"text\">Plaskett then replied, &ldquo;Yup. Very aware and waiting my turn.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>House Democratic leadership is expected to whip their members against the censure resolution.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re not new to the duplicity of Andy Harris,&rdquo; Pete Aguilar told reporters Thursday.
