Bill Huizenga, a Republican from Michigan, and Rep. such as visa bans and asset freezes &ldquo;on individuals and entities responsible for severe violations of religious freedom in Nigeria.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Huizenga said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/huizenga.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=404168\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> that &ldquo;the slaughter of innocent Christians in Nigeria demands a strong response from the United States.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Nigeria must do more to protect all innocent individuals, including Christians, within its borders,&rdquo;
