margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">a 16-point lead, and Rep.&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/3873467\/jack-ciattarelli-mikie-sherrill-new-jersey-governor-election\/\">Mikie Sherrill<\/a>&nbsp;(D-NJ) held a&nbsp;<\/span>13-point lead in her governor&rsquo;s race as of Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>With 95% of the vote counted as of Wednesday morning, Lowe Doescher noted that Attorney General-elect Jay Jones secured a 6-point win despite his vulnerability due to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/3866034\/virginia-attorney-general-result-jason-miyares-jay-jones\/\">leaked threatening texts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Jay Jones performed exactly as well as Kamala Harris, who was the democratic presidential nominee. That is not good for Republicans, obviously,&rdquo; Lowe Doescher said. &ldquo;The shutdown is a major factor.
