Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appeared on ABC’s talk show *The View* and delivered a candid critique of Republican leadership amid the ongoing government shutdown. She directly blamed House Speaker Mike johnson and other GOP leaders for the shutdown, expressing frustration that lawmakers were sent home instead of working. Greene called out “weak Republican men,” especially targeting party leadership for failing to advance the Republican agenda and allowing legislative gridlock. She also addressed criticism from conservative “paid MAGA influencers” who attacked her for agreeing to appear on the show, dismissing them as weak and pathetic.

Throughout the interview,Greene adopted a populist tone, emphasizing that both political parties have failed ordinary Americans and stressing her commitment to pushing conservative bills, such as one to eliminate capital gains tax on primary homes. Despite probing questions about her earlier belief in QAnon conspiracy theories, Greene deflected by accusing both sides of falling for media misinformation. Notably, the interaction was surprisingly civil and even somewhat complimentary, signaling *The View*’s possible intent to feature more conservative voices. Greene used the platform to amplify her criticism of GOP leadership and to portray herself as a fighter for everyday workers and conservative values.

Marjorie Taylor Greene slams ‘weak Republican men,’ GOP leadership during ‘The View’ appearance

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) received an unexpectedly warm welcome on ABC’s The View Tuesday, turning what could have been a tense clash into a surprisingly cordial — and at times complimentary — exchange with the show’s liberal hosts.

Greene, who has been hammering House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and other GOP leaders over the government shutdown, used the high-profile appearance to stand firm in her criticism of Republican leadership, accuse “paid MAGA influencers” of attacking her, and call out what she described as “weak” men in her own party.

Recommended Stories

Marjorie Taylor Greene defends ‘First Amendment for every single American,’ even Nick Fuentes, on The View

Johnson prefers January spending bill and wants to avoid Christmas omnibus ‘PTSD’

GOP leaders get ahead of nightmare election scenario: ‘Won’t be a big surprise’

“The worst thing that I just can’t get over [is] that we’re not working right now, and I put that <a href="https://www.conservativenewsdaily.net/breaking-news/report-fbi-deemed-2017-targeted-shooting-of-republicans-at-baseball-field-a-suicide-attempt-not-domestic-terrorism-scalise-responds/" title="...ort: FBI Deemed 2017 Targeted Shooting Of ...ublicans At Baseball Field A Suicide Attempt, Not Domestic Terrorism.
