Of course, should Sliwa voters follow Trump&rsquo;s lead and vote for Cuomo, the former governor would pull the upset.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the bad news:<\/p>\n<p>Voters in search of Cuomo&rsquo;s name might feel as if they have received not a <a href=\"https:\/\/nyc-static.electionhub.com\/sampleballots\/386778\/10\/2025G1V1_ELE_NON_Style_55.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ballot<\/a> but an elaborate puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>Whereas Mamdani&rsquo;s name appears in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-insane-fireworks-disaster-caught-by-simplisafe-cam-goes-viral\/\" title=\"WATCH: ... Fireworks Disaster Caught by SimpliSafe Cam Goes Viral\">top left corner<\/a>, followed by Sliwa&rsquo;s, Cuomo&rsquo;s name does not appear until the second line, which places it in the bottom right corner.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the ballot includes the names of candidates who have withdrawn from the race, including current mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/eric-adams-bows-nyc-mayoral-race-bid-thwart-mamdani-denounces-anti-american-violence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eric Adams<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Worst of all, the names of both Mamdani and Sliwa appear twice (!) on the ballot&rsquo;s top line.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;New York City voters and candidates warn the voter&rsquo;s ballot for New York City Mayor is so confusing it could siphon votes away from candidates,&rdquo; Elizabeth MacDonald of Fox Business wrote last week on the social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You need Google Maps to navigate this ballot. If you thought NYC parking signs were confusing, wait till you see the ballot,&rdquo; she joked.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEWS New York City voters and candidates warn the voter&rsquo;s ballot for New York City Mayor is so confusing it could siphon votes away from candidates. If two parties endorse the same candidate, how difficult would it be not to duplicate that candidate&rsquo;s name?<\/p>\n<p>Others, like Adams, excited the race after the ballot printing deadline.<\/p>\n<p>So what should voters make of all this? Do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/viral-exchange-second-nyc-mayor-debate-proves-mamdani-cuomo-never-run-anything-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cuomo<\/a> supporters have cause to cry foul?<\/p>\n<p>To a certain extent, yes, they do, simply because the ballot format should strike reasonable people as idiotic.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, this race has received a lot of attention. Thinking people know that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyc-socialist-mamdani-blasts-andrew-cuomo-not-visiting-enough-mosques-trainwreck-mayoral-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mamdani&rsquo;s<\/a> socialist ideas would destroy the city.
