Assaf Hamami and Staff Sgt. Oz Daniel, to Israel as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement brokered by President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\">Donald Trump<\/a> last month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Neutra&rsquo;s family thanked the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/trump-administration\/\">Trump administration<\/a> for facilitating the release of Neutra in a statement that hoped for the release of the remains of eight hostages still in Gaza.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;For 758 days, we lived between hope and heartbreak. Today, that long night ends with the knowledge that Omer is finally home,&rdquo; the family said. &ldquo;Our hearts are shattered, yet at last we can begin the process of bringing Omer to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/usa-today-columnist-bury-the-500000-covid-19-dead-at-mar-a-lago\/\" title=\"USA Today Columnist: \u2018Bury The 500,000 COVID-19 Dead At Mar-a-Lago\u2019\">final resting place<\/a> in the land he loved and defended.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>After graduating from high school in the United States, Neutra took a gap year before attending college at Binghamton University to join the IDF as a dual national.
