This demand follows the release of emails showing that Prince Andrew sought to &#8220;catch up&#8221; with Epstein shortly after Epstein&#8217;s prison release.Representatives suhas Subramanyam and Raja Krishnamoorthi emphasized that if the prince wants to clear his name and do right by Epstein&#8217;s victims, he should voluntarily come forward, either in person or remotely with legal representation. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c3dnnpvjkjvo\">told<\/a> the BBC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) also said he would be willing to subpoena the former prince. However, this would be difficult to enforce while he remained outside of the U.S.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Subramanyam suggested that Windsor could appear remotely and have his lawyer present. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;However, if Andrew wishes to come to the United States or he&rsquo;s here, then he&rsquo;s subject to the jurisdiction of the US Congress, and I would expect him to testify,&rdquo; Krishnamoorthi added.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kate-middleton-surpasses-husband-prince-william-as-most-popular-royal\/\" title=\"Kate Middleton Overtakes ... William in Popularity Among Royals\">scandal-ridden prince<\/a> was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3869911\/prince-andrew-royal-lodge-titles-epstein\/\">stripped<\/a> of his title and evicted from his royal lodge by his brother, King Charles III. He had been disgraced by his ties to Epstein and accusations of sexual assault from Virginia Giuffre. They settled out of court in 2022, and Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Democratic congressmen are members of the House Oversight Committee. The committee has been at the forefront of the battle over the release of materials about the Epstein case. The House Oversight Committee <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3790705\/house-oversight-releases-33000-pages-epstein-files-doj\/\">released<\/a> in September more than 33,000 pages of documents related to Epstein provided by the Department of Justice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3475536\/timeline-trump-epstein-relationship-friendship-fallout-beyond\/\"><strong>A TIMELINE OF TRUMP AND EPSTEIN&rsquo;S RELATIONSHIP, FROM FRIENDSHIP TO FALLOUT AND BEYOND<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump has opposed any continued investigation into the Epstein case.
