return false;\" title=\"Printer Friendly, PDF &amp; Email\"><span id=\"printfriendly-text2\" class=\"pf-button-text\"><i class=\"mdi mdi-printer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<p>House Speaker Mike Johnson is noticeably silent on whether there will be House hearings and impeachment proceedings following bombshell revelations in the Arctic Frost scandal. <\/p>\n<p>Senate Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/29\/100-times-worse-than-watergate-3-biggest-revelations-from-latest-arctic-frost-document-dump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> Wednesday that the DOJ and FBI under then-President Joe Biden compiled what&rsquo;s being described as an &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/republicans-claim-biden-administration-enemies-list-unearthed-from-arctic-frost-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enemies list<\/a>&rdquo; of Republicans. It was also revealed that the Biden administration wiretapped the phones of several high-ranking Republicans as part of its &ldquo;get-Trump&rdquo; lawfare.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1286717883\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In particular, Jack Smith &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >secretly obtained phone record data<\/a> from at least eight senators and one congressman,&rdquo; according to Sen. Chuck Grassley. Smith subpoenaed both Verizon and AT&amp;T for records &mdash; with AT&amp;T challenging the legality of the subpoena. Sen. Ted Cruz said Smith&rsquo;s subpoena to AT&amp;T requesting Cruz&rsquo;s records was accompanied by an order from Judge James E. Boasberg &mdash; the same judge who has been issuing nationwide injunctions to stop President Donald Trump from executing his mandate.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Judge Boasberg issued an order to AT&amp;T and signed that order prohibiting AT&amp;T from informing me of this subpoena for at least one year,&rdquo; Cruz said. &ldquo;And Judge Boasberg gave the basis for that order, and I&rsquo;m going to quote from the order Judge Boasberg signed: &lsquo;The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/3-biggest-revelations-from-latest-arctic-frost-document-dump\/\" title=\"3 Biggest Revelations From Latest &#039;...&#039; Document Dump\">court finds reasonable grounds<\/a> to believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of, or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.&rsquo;&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Several Republicans have since called for hearings and potential impeachment proceedings against those involved, but inquiries to Johnson about these potential efforts went unanswered.<\/p>\n<p>The Federalist inquired with Johnson&rsquo;s team about whether the Speaker would &ldquo;lead House Republicans to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-impeachment-republicans-could-finish-their-investigation-by-end-of-the-year\/\" title=\"Biden impeachment: ... could finish their ... by end of the year\">hold impeachment hearings<\/a> for James Boasberg&rdquo; and whether there would be &ldquo;Watergate-style hearings on Arctic Frost as nearly every Senate Republican called for yesterday.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Missouri Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schmitt.senate.gov\/media\/press-releases\/senator-schmitt-blasts-biden-fbis-spy-campaign-we-should-have-watergate-style-hearings-for-months\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> Wednesday that &ldquo;there has to be accountability.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The American people have heard a lot about this, and you&rsquo;re going to hear more. We should have Watergate-style hearings on this for months,&rdquo; Schmitt said. &ldquo;If we&rsquo;re ever going to root this out, we must be serious about it, and consequences must follow &mdash; resignations, firings, criminal prosecutions.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Cruz, speaking at Wednesday&rsquo;s press conference, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2025\/10\/30\/cruz-calls-judge-boasbergs-impeachment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> that &ldquo;if a judge signs an order reaching a factual conclusion for which there is zero evidence whatsoever, that judge is abusing his power.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am right now calling on the House of Representatives to impeach Judge Boasberg,&rdquo; Cruz continued. <\/p>\n<p>Arctic Frost was an investigation led by the Biden administration to &ldquo;target Republicans in key battleground states,&rdquo; as explained by The Federalist&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/29\/arctic-frost-docs-expose-breadth-of-biden-dojs-weaponization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Margot Cleveland<\/a>. This inquiry would lead to Smith&rsquo;s elector case against Trump. Then-FBI Director Christopher Wray sent a memorandum to then-Attorney General Merrick Garland claiming that &ldquo;fraudulent certificates of electors&rsquo; votes were submitted to the Archivist of the United States&rdquo; for Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
