Crockett acknowledges that beating Cornyn would be difficult for any Democrat, which explains the Republican party&#8217;s heavy spending to secure his nomination. She has begun preparations,including discussions with a potential campaign manager and plans for polling. Due to recent redistricting, Crockett now resides in Texas&#8217;s 33rd Congressional District, where she faces a primary challenge from fellow Democrat Mark Veasey. She now lives in the 33rd Congressional District and faces competition from fellow Democratic Rep. Mark Veasey, the district&rsquo;s current representative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The congresswoman is known for her fiery social media presence and strong progressive views. If she <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3860024\/jasmine-crockett-floats-bid-texas-senate-race\/\">entered the Texas Senate race<\/a>, her main competitors would be state Rep. James Talarico and former Rep. However, if Crockett and former Democratic Rep.
