As The Federalist previously reported, that inquiry &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/05\/07\/senators-to-national-archives-turn-over-records-from-biden-admins-get-trump-lawfare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ultimately became<\/a>&nbsp;Jack Smith&rsquo;s elector case against Trump.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-857985885\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to newly disclosed files, the Biden FBI filed a subpoena on Sept. 19, 2022, with Chain Bridge Bank, seeking any requested &ldquo;testimony, documents, and\/or communications&rdquo; from several Trump-affiliated political groups. This named list included the &ldquo;Save America PAC, Save America Leadership PAC, and\/or Save America JFC,&rdquo; and the &ldquo;Trump Make America Great Again JFC.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The subpoena was one of many the Biden FBI would file in the coming months as part of its quest to target any individual and group associated with the eventual 2024 Republican presidential nominee. <\/p>\n<p>A month later, on Oct. 11, 2022, the agency filed a subpoena with National Capital Bank to obtain &ldquo;testimony, documents, and\/or communications&rdquo; from the Conservative Partnership Institute. The request specifically named Mark Meadows and Cleta Mitchell. While Meadows served as Trump&rsquo;s White House chief of staff during his first term, Mitchell serves as chair of the Election Integrity Network and advised Trump on his post-2020 election litigation in Georgia. <\/p>\n<p>The revelation is particularly notable given a separate batch of Arctic Frost records released on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/29\/seattle-fbi-probed-conservative-ceo-for-being-anti-biden-while-ignoring-antifa-violence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> that the Biden FBI was also targeting CPI President and CEO Ed Corrigan as part of its expansive inquiry.
