inquiry. That probe <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/05\/07\/senators-to-national-archives-turn-over-records-from-biden-admins-get-trump-lawfare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ultimately became<\/a> Special Counsel Jack Smith&rsquo;s elector lawfare against Donald Trump. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1261432636\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As The Federalist&rsquo;s Margot Cleveland <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/29\/arctic-frost-docs-expose-breadth-of-biden-dojs-weaponization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">summarized<\/a>, these new documents show how the Biden FBI &ldquo;used the Arctic Frost investigation to target Republicans in key battleground states, raising serious questions concerning whether the Democrat-led DOJ plotted with state prosecutors to bring criminal charges against Trump supporters.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>What&rsquo;s particularly notable about the newly disclosed records is the wide range of Trump-affiliated figures targeted throughout the FBI&rsquo;s invasive probe. Of the more than 150 individuals who faced increased scrutiny from the agency was none other than Ed Corrigan, the president and CEO of the Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI).<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 12, 2022, an unnamed official with the FBI&rsquo;s Seattle Field Office sent an email to another unidentified official within the agency&rsquo;s Washington, D.C. Field Office regarding Corrigan. The partially redacted email shows that the Seattle-based FBI official cited claims from an unidentified individual, who, as maintained by this official, said the CPI president &ldquo;is pro-Putin and anti-Biden.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;[Redacted] along with [redacted] colleague at the [redacted] [redacted], consider what Corrigan is doing &lsquo;treason,&#8217;&rdquo; the email reads. <\/p>\n<p>The Seattle-based official went on to discuss further claims from this unidentified source. Among them were the outlandish arguments that Corrigan &ldquo;and his boss Mark Meadows are engaging in willful criminal activity,&rdquo; and that the CPI CEO &ldquo;has [redacted] properties at which he wants to build up infrastructure to train people for civil war.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Seattle-based FBI official also appeared to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >parrot deranged left-wing talking points<\/a> about Corrigan. Addressing the unidentified D.C.-based FBI official, the Seattle agent wrote, &ldquo;Corrigan secretly controls the freedom caucus and has plans that are not good for the FBI. Corrigan hates the FBI, who he refers to as spooks. Corrigan claims to have identified an [redacted] as a spook in the [redacted].&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <span class=\"s6qh3HGuLRwIUXc\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It looks like the witch hunt against Ed Corrigan, a beloved patriot, was being run out of the same Seattle FBI office which allowed Antifa and other domestic terrorists to violently run riot throughout the city for years. Interesting choice of resource deployment by the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>We&hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kip1XKfEn3\">https:\/\/t.co\/kip1XKfEn3<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Sean Davis (@seanmdav) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/seanmdav\/status\/1983318200893710491?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>As The Federalist&rsquo;s Mollie Hemingway <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MZHemingway\/status\/1983252208306319718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">observed<\/a>, the FBI&rsquo;s targeting of Corrigan &ldquo;is so insane and so divorced from reality that it tells us the situation at the FBI was a million times worse than even those who think it&rsquo;s unsalvageable believed.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Ed Corrigan is one of the most beloved members of the conservative movement across every faction on the right,&rdquo; Hemingway <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MZHemingway\/status\/1983278270977323218\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a> on X. &ldquo;[S]o much to go over here but one of my favorite things about this absolutely unhinged note from an FBI agent out of Seattle is that he was trying to imprison Ed Corrigan, of all people, but not the Antifa terrorists in his own back yard.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As noted by Pacific Northwest-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/national\/article_9bd56148-b469-4c6c-8d1a-71340dc1ceaf.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reporters<\/a> and other <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.fo\/vpzRo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">media outlets<\/a>, Seattle has become a hotbed in recent years for Antifa activity. A far<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/slovenian-prime-minister-antifa-is-international-terrorist-organisation\/\" title=\"Slovenian Prime Minister: Antifa Is &#039;International Terrorist Organisation&#039;\">-left extremist group<\/a>, Antifa operates throughout America and the globe, and was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/09\/designating-antifa-as-a-domestic-terrorist-organization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">designated<\/a> by President Trump as a domestic terrorist organization for its purportedly &ldquo;illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/app\/uploads\/Infiltrated-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> published earlier this month by the Capital Research Center and the Discovery Institute details how members of Antifa have embedded themselves within the homeless industrial complex in cities like Seattle.
