These discrepancies include registrations missing driver&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >license numbers adn mismatched names compared<\/a> to DOT records. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL), which obtained the data, stressed that this does not prove fraudulent voting but called for greater openness and description from the wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) about these inconsistencies.WILL has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senators-ask-powell-if-the-fed-had-been-lax-in-supervising-failed-svb-bank\/\" title=\"Senators Ask Powell If the Fed Had Been Lax in Supervising Failed SVB Bank\">urged federal authorities<\/a> to investigate and questioned why the vetting processes differ between online and paper voter registrations. We don&rsquo;t even know if these 40,000 names were even voters in the election. We know that they&rsquo;re on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-democrats-h-r-1-is-a-power-grab-would-undermine-states-election-rules\/\" title=\"Republicans: Democrats\u2019 H.R. 1 Is a Power Grab, Would Undermine States\u2019 Election Rules\">voter registration list<\/a> and it&rsquo;s certainly likely, of course, that some of them voted.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;But we don&rsquo;t know because we don&rsquo;t know who voted, and we don&rsquo;t know what all the discrepancies are. It could be something innocuous, it could be something more serious. But our point in the letter is just saying this is serious enough that questions need to be answered, and we need a little more transparency here from the government.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>WILL sent a follow-up letter to the U.S. Department of Justice on the issue after urging the department&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/wisconsin\/article_1a264371-8fa8-4714-bc0f-1f120cafe71b.html\">earlier this fall<\/a>&nbsp;to take a deeper look at the issue.<\/p>\n<p>A Waukesha County judge ruled in an unrelated case earlier this month that the WEC must&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/wisconsin\/article_381bc94f-66d5-4853-9203-57c3a92c46aa.html\">check voter registration information<\/a>&nbsp;with state identification information to ensure the voter rolls are accurate, but a stay was placed on that ruling until the results of a hearing scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The WEC data showed that the name and date of birth don&rsquo;t match on 680 registrations, just the date of birth doesn&rsquo;t match on 3,110, and there were no WisDOT matches found for 2,069 registrations.<\/p>\n<p>WILL has urged the WEC to explain why it has different processes to vet online voter registration information than hand-written forms.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/infrastructure\/3865082\/sean-duffy-pull-federal-funds-california-commercial-drivers-license-illegal-immigrants\/\">DUFFY PLEDGES TO PULL $160 MILLION IN FEDERAL FUNDS FROM CALIFORNIA OVER COMMERCIAL DRIVERS&rsquo; LICENSING<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What are they doing to ensure the integrity of our voter registration list?&rdquo; Vebber said. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s a really good question for WEC. If they have this information, then they are aware of this discrepancy. What are they doing with it?
