Rather, the committee&rsquo;s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3865570\/house-gop-oversight-report-finds-biden-staffers-exercised-presidential-powers\/\">report alleged it was Biden&rsquo;s staff<\/a>, not Biden, using the autopen to apply his signature during what they say was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/clooney-delivers-most-unconvincing-performance-in-biden-op-ed\/\" title=\"Clooney Delivers Most Unconvincing Performance In Biden Op-Ed\">steep cognitive decline<\/a> for the former president, and that no clear paper trails are available to show that Biden properly consented to using the mechanical signature device.<\/p>\n<p>After the committee published its report, Republicans focused on Biden&rsquo;s controversial last-minute preemptive pardons in January, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/3257413\/biden-pardons-fauci-preemptively\/\">including those issued to Dr. Anthony Fauci<\/a>, Gen. Mark Milley, and members of the House Jan. 6 committee.
