After all, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/over-half-of-us-at-elevated-risk-of-winter-blackouts-due-to-biden-energy-policies-watchdog-comments-on-industry-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden&rsquo;s energy policies<\/a> amounted to a smorgasbord of goodies for the climate-change cult.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think you&rsquo;re gonna see $2 gasoline,&rdquo; Trump reiterated moments later. &ldquo;We could even break that number. Nincompoop &ldquo;experts&rdquo; warned of runaway inflation. They were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-demands-action-jerome-powell-wholesale-inflation-report-stuns-economists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrong<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, those tariffs yielded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-tariffs-bring-new-record-amount-revenue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unprecedented revenue<\/a>. And less fortunate Americans have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-use-profits-dem-opposed-tariffs-save-women-childrens-food-program-dem-government-shutdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">benefited<\/a> from it.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if gasoline prices hit $2-per-gallon or lower, imagine the disposable income consumers will enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine, too, the political ramifications. After all, the American electorate consists of many people who do not spend their days scrolling on news websites. But those people do see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/european-gas-prices-rise-following-nord-stream-2-cancellation\/\" title=\"European Gas Prices Rise Following Nord Stream 2 Cancellation\">gas prices rise<\/a> and fall. And when those changes occur, many people undoubtedly (fairly or otherwise) attribute the fluctuations to the sitting president.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, we hardly need to guess how Democrats would react to $2 or lower gas prices. Politically, of course, they would break into sweats.
