margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><em>New York Post<\/em>&nbsp;cover&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/cover\/october-21-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">featured the headline<\/a>, &ldquo;Just Walk Away, Beret! There&rsquo;s no one in the world that loves New York City more than the Trump family, more than my father [President Donald Trump], more than me. I run buildings there every single day. It&rsquo;s what I do. And again, all everybody is asking for is keep our city clean, keep our city safe, have reasonable tax policy, don&rsquo;t be crazy, and New York will take care of itself,&rdquo; Trump said.<\/p>\n<p>The warning came as tensions escalated within New York Republican circles. On Tuesday, Sliwa again refused to bow to pressure from his party and billionaire backers, including John Catsimatidis, who publicly urged him to drop out and back Cuomo.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Let&rsquo;s be very clear: I am not dropping out &mdash; under no circumstance,&rdquo; Sliwa said at a press conference. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve already been offered money to drop out. I said no.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A new AARP and Gotham Polling survey shows Mamdani leading with 43.2%, Cuomo trailing at 28.9%, and Sliwa in third with 19.4%.
