Kinsey&#8217;s work in the 1940s and &#8217;50s, based on fraudulent methods and unethical experimentation, including on young children, promoted false ideas that sexual perversion is normal and that children are inherently sexual from birth. His controversial reports laid the foundation for extensive sexuality education and contributed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-trumps-deportation-agenda-is-being-stalled-in-courts\/\" title=\"How Trump&#039;s deportation agenda is being stalled in courts\">weakening legal protections<\/a> for women and children across many states.<\/p>\n<p>Despite evidence and even admissions of fraud by Kinsey&#8217;s own associates, Congress has historically refused to investigate. Kinsey&#8217;s influence spread globally through the United Nations, which granted the Kinsey Institute consultative status, enabling the adoption of his ideas in international sexuality education programs. Critics argue that this has normalized abusive sexual behaviors, increased pornography prevalence, and fueled sex trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>In response, grassroots organizations, including purple for Parents United in Indiana, have successfully pushed for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pramila-jayapal-wants-to-end-the-filibuster-codify-roe-v-wade-at-the-federal-level\/\" title=\"Pramila Jayapal Wants To End The Filibuster, Codify Roe V. Wade At The Federal Level\">state-level actions<\/a> such as defunding the Kinsey Institute and banning pornography in schools. These groups now call on Congress to revisit and revive a 1995 bill that sought to investigate Kinsey&#8217;s research and defund institutions promoting it. They argue that federal intervention is crucial to protect children from ongoing harm caused by Kinsey&#8217;s indoctrination.<\/p>\n<p>Rhonda Miller, CEO of Purple for Parents United, leads these efforts to inform and advocate for children&#8217;s protection from harmful cultural agendas rooted in Kinsey&#8217;s discredited research.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>One congressional staffer told us it was the largest international delegation his office had seen. Grassroots organizations from seven <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >countries recently joined forces<\/a> in Washington, D.C., looking to America to stop the sexualization of children where it started: with the research of Alfred Kinsey.<\/p>\n<p>Kinsey&rsquo;s fraudulent research and criminal experiments in the 1940s and &rsquo;50s ignited the sexual revolution with the lies that sexual perversion is normal and that children are sexual from birth. His reports, &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/iupress.org\/9780253067463\/sexual-behavior-in-the-human-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sexual Behavior in the Human Male<\/a>&rdquo; and &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/iupress.org\/9780253334114\/sexual-behavior-in-the-human-female\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sexual Behavior in the Human Female<\/a>,&rdquo; laid the groundwork for <a href=\"https:\/\/siecus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comprehensive sexuality education<\/a> and the repeal of legal protections for women and children.<\/p>\n<p>Through the United Nations, Kinsey&rsquo;s perversion has spread worldwide, and grassroots leaders from around the world are calling on Congress to step in.<\/p>\n<p>There was a chance to do so in 1995, when Rep. Steve Stockman of Texas proposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/104th-congress\/house-bill\/2749\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">H.R. 2749<\/a>. The bill would have required an investigation to determine whether Kinsey&rsquo;s research resulted from &ldquo;fraud or criminal wrongdoing&rdquo; &mdash; and defunded agencies and institutions teaching it as credible if that was the case.<\/p>\n<p>It was. &ldquo;Female&rdquo; volume co-author and former Kinsey Institute Director Paul Gebhard later <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=W6J7qLv-2hA&amp;t=1082s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kinsey interviewed prisoners and prostitutes to determine &ldquo;normal&rdquo; sexual behavior and used data from <a href=\"https:\/\/purpleforparentsindiana.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-10\/Table%2034%2C%20pie%20chart.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sexual experiments on children<\/a> as young as five months old to support his claim that children are sexual from birth.<\/p>\n<h2>Kinsey&rsquo;s Work Weakened Protections<\/h2>\n<p>Kinsey&rsquo;s &ldquo;science&rdquo; was used &mdash; as he intended &mdash; to <a href=\"https:\/\/purpleforparentsindiana.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-09\/Alec%20Paper%20final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transform<\/a> social science, culture, law, and education. Fifty-two state <a href=\"https:\/\/purpleforparentsindiana.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-09\/Alec%20Paper%20final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">laws<\/a> protecting women and children were weakened or repealed as states shifted from the common law to the Model Penal Code, which was based on Kinsey&rsquo;s research. Many states <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thereismaninstitute.org\/law-articles\/2020\/3\/30\/obscenity-exemptions-for-educational-purposes-invalidates-state-harmful-to-minors-statutes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exempted<\/a> schools, museums, and libraries from laws against distributing pornography to children. Penalties for sexual crimes were lessened, and plea bargains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/negotiated-justice-convictions-difficult-plea-bargains-plentiful-in-sex-assault-cases\/3447470\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">became the norm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After reading Kinsey&rsquo;s work in college, Hugh Hefner founded Playboy, reportedly proclaiming himself &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/opinion\/what-you-dont-know-about-hugh-hefner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kinsey&rsquo;s pamphleteer<\/a>.&rdquo; Now the internet has enabled pornography to become even more <a href=\"https:\/\/fightthenewdrug.org\/fast-facts\/?ff=prevalence&amp;_gl=1*1y5qs5y*_up*MQ..*_ga*NzQ4NzY3NTUuMTc2MDA1NTk2Mg..*_ga_3VF64E6XBN*czE3NjAwNTU5NjIkbzEkZzEkdDE3NjAwNTYwNzkkajI2JGwwJGgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prevalent<\/a>, normalizing <a href=\"https:\/\/fightthenewdrug.org\/fast-facts\/?ff=sexual-violence&amp;_gl=1*r34fsx*_up*MQ..*_ga*NzQ4NzY3NTUuMTc2MDA1NTk2Mg..*_ga_3VF64E6XBN*czE3NjAwNTU5NjIkbzEkZzEkdDE3NjAwNTY4ODkkajYwJGwwJGgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">abusive and violent<\/a> sexual behavior and fueling the demand for <a href=\"https:\/\/truthaboutporn.org\/media\/porn-fuels-the-demand-for-sex-trafficking\/?_gl=1*9piiz7*_up*MQ..*_ga*NjYxNTA0Njg3LjE3NTk5NjEyNzE.*_ga_3VF64E6XBN*czE3NjAwNTUzOTIkbzIkZzAkdDE3NjAwNTUzOTIkajYwJGwwJGgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sex trafficking<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But Congress has refused to investigate, and children around the world have paid the price.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, the Kinsey Institute was given <a href=\"https:\/\/esango.un.org\/civilsociety\/consultativeStatusSummary.do?profileCode=631596\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consultative status<\/a> at the United Nations, allowing it to submit written statements and make oral presentations, and the UN&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.54675\/UQRM6395\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Comprehensive Sexuality Education<\/a> has taken his ideas worldwide, basing its guidance on the belief that children &ldquo;want and need sexuality and sexual health information as early and comprehensively as possible.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<h2>Follow Indiana&rsquo;s Lead and Defund<\/h2>\n<p>In 2023 my organization, <a href=\"https:\/\/purpleforparentsindiana.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Purple for Parents United<\/a>, worked with Indiana legislators to <a href=\"https:\/\/iga.in.gov\/pdf-documents\/123\/2023\/house\/bills\/HB1001\/amendments\/HB1001.02.COMH.AMH002.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">end state funding of the Kinsey Institute<\/a> &mdash; which <a href=\"https:\/\/kinseyinstitute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">still operates<\/a> on the campus of Indiana University &mdash; and <a href=\"https:\/\/iga.in.gov\/pdf-documents\/123\/2023\/house\/bills\/HB1447\/HB1447.04.ENRS.pdf\">ban pornography<\/a> in Indiana schools. We&rsquo;ve done, and continue to do, our part at the state level.
