No Kings started its movement in 2025 and centers around portraying Trump as authoritarian, despite CPUSA <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20251017150656\/https:\/\/www.cpusa.org\/article\/dear-comrade-fidel-castro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">repeatedly<\/a> praising late Cuban dictator <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/sNmz7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fidel Castro<\/a> and the DSA&rsquo;s International Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/9a9EC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">showing<\/a> &ldquo;solidarity&rdquo; with North Korea&rsquo;s totalitarian government.<\/p>\n<p>The DSA, CPUSA, and No Kings did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation&rsquo;s requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We wish to extend to you and the Cuban people our very best wishes for a speedy recovery from your recent surgery,&rdquo; CPUSA wrote in a 2006 open letter to &ldquo;Comrade Fidel Castro&rdquo; a decade before the communist leader&rsquo;s death. &ldquo;We hope you will be able to quickly resume your invaluable work in the struggle for world peace, justice and equality.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>CPUSA again wrote glowingly about its &ldquo;dear comrade&rdquo; in 2016 after his death, and in 2018, it posted comments&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/sNmz7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">celebrating<\/a> the 60th anniversary of Castro&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/threats-violence-swept-across-us-anti-trump-no-kings-mass-protests-occurred\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revolution<\/a> that turned Cuba communist.
