The indictment states the defendants, along with up to nine others from a North Texas Antifa cell, were heavily armed and targeted the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, firing fireworks and shooting at law enforcement officers. One police officer was shot in the neck during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment describes antifa as a militant group with revolutionary anarchist or Marxist ideologies aiming to overthrow the U.S. government. The group allegedly planned the attack extensively using encrypted communications and reconnaissance. Following the event,Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel emphasized that Antifa is being prosecuted as a terrorist association,marking the first such terrorism charges against antifa members. Alleged Antifa members then shot dozens of other rounds at unarmed ICE officers nearby.<\/p>\n<p>The DOJ said in its indictment, &ldquo;Antifa is a militant enterprise made up of individuals and small groups primarily subscribing to a revolutionary anarchist or autonomous Marxist ideology, which explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Antifa group was heavily armed with over 50 firearms, according to the indictment. They engaged in significant planning before they assaulted the ICE facility, including site reconnaissance and passing around information through encrypted messages, such as a map of the facility and the locations of security cameras.<\/p>\n<p>One member allegedly wrote to the others in a chat, saying, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m done with peaceful protests,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Blue lives don&rsquo;t matter.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pam-bondi-goes-toe-toe-adam-schiff-senate-hearing-worked-fired\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pam Bondi<\/a> posted on social media, &ldquo;Antifa is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/antifa-is-the-identity-obsessed-progeny-of-marxist-terrorists\/\" title=\"...
