Representative Andy Barr leads in fundraising with over $1.3 million raised in the third quarter,followed by businessman Nate Morris with over $1 million,while Cameron reported approximately $411,000. Still, internal polls show Cameron ahead by double-digit margins, attributed to his strong name recognition and a high favorability rating among likely voters.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron&#8217;s campaign emphasizes that while funding is important, voter support is paramount, projecting confidence in their resources and backing from conservative groups. Simultaneously occurring, Barr and Morris highlight their financial advantages, with Barr holding the most cash on hand-over $6.6 million-while Morris has self-loaned his campaign over $3 million. Andy Barr (R-KY) is leading the pack in fundraising, raising over $1.3 million in the third quarter. Businessman Nate Morris trailed Barr, bringing in over $1.006 million in the reporting period. Cameron has led the other candidates by double digits in recent polling.<\/p>\n<p>An&nbsp;October internal poll&nbsp;commissioned by the <a href=\"https:\/\/coefficient.org\/ky-senate-2026-republican-primary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cameron campaign<\/a> showed Cameron in the lead with 39% of likely Kentucky GOP voters, Barr at 22%, and Morris at 8%. Shows Matt Mowers With Commanding Lead in Early ...ublican ...\">internal poll showed<\/a> him with a 56% <a href=\"https:\/\/coefficient.org\/ky-senate-2026-republican-primary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">favorability<\/a> rating, double digits higher than that of <a href=\"https:\/\/coefficient.org\/ky-senate-2026-republican-primary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barr<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/coefficient.org\/ky-senate-2026-republican-primary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Morris<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Money is important, and we feel confident we will have plenty of resources to win in May from both our campaign&nbsp;and outside conservative groups supporting us,&rdquo; the Cameron campaign said in a statement. &ldquo;But if money was everything then Kamala Harris should be President and Amy McGrath should be an incumbent U.S. Senator. Voters matter most- and voters LOVE Daniel Cameron.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Barr campaign has used the polling to argue the GOP primary is a &ldquo;two-man race&rdquo; between Barr and Cameron, deeming Morris too many steps behind in the polls. However, both the Barr and Morris campaigns are saying money talks.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Andy Barr is dominating this race,&rdquo; Barr campaign spokesman Alex Bellizzi said. &ldquo;He&rsquo;s built an unmatched campaign operation with more than four times the cash on hand of his opponents &mdash; including 10 times more than his only real competitor, Daniel Cameron.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Barr led the GOP primary contestants with over $6.6 million in cash on hand at the end of the third quarter. Morris had over $1 million, and Cameron had $629,748.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3848661\/witkoff-fundraiser-kentucky-senate-nate-morris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Morris<\/a> gave seven separate loans to his own campaign, totaling just over $3 million since July, according to Federal Election Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00909705\/1920760\/sa\/ALL\/4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">records<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re not concerned with fake internal polls &mdash; Nate is going to spend whatever it takes to win this race,&rdquo; Morris campaign spokesman Conor McGuinness said in a statement to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re just getting started.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It tells you everything you need to know that Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron have spent all their time, energy, and resources attacking Nate Morris from the minute he got into this race,&rdquo; McGuinness said.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3802994\/andy-barr-drops-first-tv-ad-campaign-as-he-gets-hit-with-2-million-negative-ad-spree\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">attack ads<\/a> in the race have been heated against the candidates as PACs throw their weight into the race to replace retiring Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3853482\/mitch-mcconnell-falls-facing-sunrise-movement-activists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mitch McConnell<\/a> (R-KY) and the three vie for a possible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3785274\/andy-barr-maga-credentials-vies-trump-backing-replace-mcconnell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">endorsement<\/a> from President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>There is a fourth Republican candidate in the primary race, <a href=\"https:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00903930\/1918529\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Michael Faris<\/a>, though he was in a deficit with negative $15,902 cash on hand at the close of the third quarter.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3851371\/thomas-massie-record-breaking-fundraising-haul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MASSIE BRINGS IN RECORD-BREAKING FUNDRAISING HAUL AFTER BUCKING TRUMP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of the five blue candidates registered with the FEC for the Democratic primary, only one has filed her third quarter report as of Thursday, according to the FEC website. State Rep.
