The Federalist asserts that unlike many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/border-patrol-arrests-two-illegal-immigrants-from-yemen-on-fbi-terror-watch-list\/\" title=\"Border Patrol Arrests Two Illegal Immigrants From Yemen On FBI Terror Watch List\">corporate media outlets<\/a> that propagated false narratives about issues such as the Russia collusion hoax, the Covington kids incident, the Kavanaugh allegations, Ukraine impeachment, COVID-19 origins, BLM riots, and Hunter Biden&#8217;s laptop, it consistently reported the truth despite facing censorship and suppression by the U.S.government and Big Tech. The authors criticize mainstream media and some supposed first Amendment defenders for not defending The Federalist against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-to-sue-facebook-twitter-and-google-claiming-illegal-censorship\/\" title=\"Donald Trump To Sue Facebook, Twitter And Google Claiming Illegal Censorship\">illegal censorship<\/a> efforts and, in certain specific cases, supporting those efforts. Upon reviewing the Department of war&#8217;s actual guidelines, they found no new restrictions on journalistic freedom or requirements to waive constitutional rights. The document explicitly states that journalists retain their rights to investigate, report, and publish without prior approval from the Department. We published facts and the truth, and the U.S. federal government responded by waging a global war of illegal censorship against The Federalist. NBC News, for example, colluded with Big Tech to demonetize and deplatform us for criticizing the government and the corrupt corporate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-real-clear-politics-say-they-never-called-pennsylvania\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Real Clear Politics ...... SAY THEY NEVER CALLED PENNSYLVANIA\">news media<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>So you&rsquo;ll have to forgive our skepticism of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-contributor-suggests-democrats-should-focus-their-criticism-on-trump\/\" title=\"CNN contributor suggests Democrats should focus their criticism on Trump\">corporate media&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s ostensible new love of press freedoms and the First Amendment. We actually read through the new Department of War media access <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/933459148\/DoW-Media-Guidelines-Oct-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guidelines<\/a>, and we found zero new restrictions on the ability of journalists to report on or criticize the government. Many corporate journalists eager to grandstand will claim otherwise without evidence, but we will show you what the actual document says. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Nothing in this document requires you to waive any constitutional rights. This in-brief constitutes a description of [Department of War] policies.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Members of the news media are not required to submit their writings to [the Department of War] for approval.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This in-brief and its Appendices address [Department of War] policy and the potential bases for such a determination and do not prohibit you as a [credential holder] from engaging in constitutionally protected journalistic activities, such as investigating, reporting, or publishing stories.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;My signature represents my acknowledgement and understanding of such [Department of War] policies and procedures, even if I do not necessarily agree with such policies and procedures. Signing this acknowledgment does not waive any rights I may have under law.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Those are the actual facts. And as usually is the case, we are likely the first outlet to report them. We look forward to eagerly covering the Pentagon, both on-site and from a distance, with the same fearlessness and courage and devotion to the truth that we have exhibited since we were created. And if the new guidelines result in <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >fewer professional con artists<\/a> and media hoaxers roaming the halls looking for new lies to peddle, so be
