Macy,acknowledged President Donald Trump&#8217;s success during his second term,despite not supporting him personally.The conversation also touched on Maher&#8217;s appreciation for pop singer Taylor Swift&#8217;s achievements, despite not fully understanding her music. Maher emphasized the importance of respecting success, regardless of personal opinions. Additionally, both Maher and Macy criticized younger generations for what thay see as naive enthusiasm for communism, describing it as a failed and harmful system. Macy, while talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/taylor-swift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taylor Swift<\/a>. Have the humility to give it up for enormous success on any level.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Trump, not my choice, didn&rsquo;t vote for him, I can&rsquo;t deny the success,&rdquo; Maher added.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I can&rsquo;t either,&rdquo; said Macy. &ldquo;And he&rsquo;s the president.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>They then discussed a framed picture hanging on a wall in the studio that featured a list of the 56 insults Trump has called Maher over the years. The president autographed it when the two met in the White House earlier this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Did you give him that, and he signed it for you?&rdquo; Macy asked.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Correct,&rdquo; Maher replied.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Oh, that&rsquo;s f****** brilliant,&rdquo; Macy said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the show, the two discussed their advanced age &mdash; Maher is 69 and Macy is 75 &mdash; and that today&rsquo;s youth are &ldquo;stupid.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;One of the things I like about getting old is hearing the stupid things my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/does-biden-have-anything-to-say-about-the-idaho-student-murders-or-only-tragedies-involving-guns-and-gays\/\" title=\"Does Biden Have Anything To Say About The Idaho Student Murders \u2014 Or Only Tragedies Involving Guns And Gays?\">young friends<\/a> say,&rdquo; Macy said. &ldquo;It makes me feel so good.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It should, because you&rsquo;re right,&rdquo; Maher replied. &ldquo;Just because something is new doesn&rsquo;t make it automatically better, which is what they seem to think.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You know, a lot of the younger people are all excited about communism,&rdquo; Maher said. &ldquo;Well, that&rsquo;s because you&rsquo;re dumb and you didn&rsquo;t study this. It&rsquo;s not all your fault; they just didn&rsquo;t teach it to you. But us older people know they tried it and it was a f****** nightmare.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A nightmare,&rdquo; Macy responded. &ldquo;A murderous nightmare.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/3847423\/democrats-credit-trump-israel-gaza-peace-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DEMOCRATS CREDIT TRUMP FOR ENDING ISRAEL&rsquo;S WAR IN GAZA: &lsquo;THIS WAS HIS DEAL&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Communism is a murderous, soul-sucking night[mare],&rdquo; Maher added. &ldquo;Even if they didn&rsquo;t kill you, your soul was just quashed. You couldn&rsquo;t get ahead. Everything was corrupt because it didn&rsquo;t conform to human nature. Humans are selfish.
