Gavin Newsom signed into law a requirement that California&rsquo;s public schools, middle school through college, include the number for the radical Trevor Project&rsquo;s &ldquo;LGBTQ+ suicide hotline&rdquo; on student identification cards.<\/p>\n<p>The existing California law had already required that all student IDs &mdash; at public and private institutions &mdash; include a general suicide prevention hotline number. In July, the Trump administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samhsa.gov\/about\/news-announcements\/statements\/2025\/samhsa-statement-988-press-3-option\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">terminated<\/a> a feature where callers on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline could press the &ldquo;3&rdquo; to be connected to a counselor trained for &ldquo;LGB+ youth services.&rdquo; Now, California&rsquo;s law mandates free advertising for the Trevor Project&rsquo;s radical transgender agenda.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-391277106\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Trevor Project&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/resources\/article\/understanding-gender-identities-and-pronouns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>, targeted at &ldquo;LGBTQ young people,&rdquo; tells readers that &ldquo;if you decide that your current gender or sex just isn&rsquo;t right for you, you may want to make your gender identity fit with your ideal gender expression and presentation.&rdquo; It goes on to explain this process &ldquo;is called transitioning, and can include social (like telling other people about which pronouns you like), legal (like changing your name), or medical (like taking hormones or having surgery).&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Trevor Project also hosts TrevorSpace, a chatroom advertised for 13-to-24-year-olds. The site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/visit-trevorspace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claims<\/a> that the space is moderated, though it has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/news\/undercover-mom-discovers-pandoras-box-of-depravity-in-trans-organizations-chatroom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shown <\/a>to facilitate sexually graphic conversations and devastating advice for confused minors.<\/p>\n<p>The Trevor Project website also tells users about a feature allowing them to exit the site quickly by pressing the escape key three times, rerouting them to the Google homepage.<\/p>\n<p>This legislative endorsement of the Trevor Project is just the latest advance in California&rsquo;s continuous attack on children and families. In 2024, Gov. Newsom signed the <a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=202320240AB1955\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SAFETY Act<\/a> to prohibit any measure that would require teachers or school administrators to inform parents of a child&rsquo;s perceived &ldquo;sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Another anti-children <a href=\"https:\/\/legiscan.com\/CA\/text\/AB1120\/id\/3134820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bill<\/a>, currently making its way through the California legislature, would allow children of any age in the foster care system to consent to contraceptives or abortions, or receive care following a sexual assault &ldquo;without the knowledge or consent of any adult.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<div class=\"article-author-description fst-italic\">      Catherine Gripp is a graduate of Arizona Christian University where she earned a degree in communication and a minor in political science.
