The initial group of seven hostages was transferred to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) after being handed over to the Red Cross in Gaza City. The freed hostages include Matan Angrest, Gali Berman and his twin brother Ziv Berman, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Alon Ohel, Omri Miran, and Eitan Mor. The remaining 13 hostages are expected to be released soon. This growth follows a ceasefire agreement negotiated by former President Donald Trump, who is traveling to israel and reportedly watched the release via livestream.the IDF has welcomed and is accompanying the released hostages as they undergo medical assessments in Israel. Families gathered near the Gaza border to greet the returnees.
